Planning for the Cherokee Removal Memorial began some thirty years ago. We have a $180,000 grant available to build the Memorial which must be completed by October 2012. We must provide $45,000 in matching funds to use the grant. Currently we have raised about 75 percent of this amount and need your help to raise the balance by March 2012 click on the above heading or the NEWS link for details of the current situation.

Federal tax deductible contributions of any amount to support Cherokee Removal Memorial Park may be made to Meigs Co. as a government since they do not need a 501(c)3 to accept contributions for the Park.
