CRANE & CHEROKEE HERATAGE DAYS
JANUARY 15 & 16 2012

A free two day weekend even in mid-winter is one of the largest out-of-doors festivals in the Southeast with several thousand visitors to view the cranes and participate in Cherokee Heritage activities at the Birchwood School and Cherokee Removal Memorial Park. The event is sponsored by TWRA and Birchwood School. A free shuttle bus service is provided from the School and Cherokee Removal Memorial Park to the viewing area. Activities at the School and/or the Park include: Nature and Raptor(hawks etc.) Shows, Cherokee Heritage Talks, Arts, Crafts, and Crafts.
